Precise Implementation of ADA Standards

We specialize in producing Braille signage that is 100% compliant with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act . Our products strictly adhere to its core requirements: the height of raised lettering/Braille (0.635-0.9525mm), spacing (dot center spacing of 1.27mm and line spacing of 3.18mm), and tactile clarity—ensuring that visually impaired individuals can accurately identify information through touch. All our products are eligible for third-party testing and certification (e.g., SGS, UL), providing direct compliance assurance for client project acceptance.

Process Logic:

First, CNC precision drilling (hole diameter: 0.8-1.0mm) creates Braille dot positions on the substrate (metal/acrylic/stainless steel). Next, specialized Braille beads (Shore A hardness: 75A±5) are embedded into these holes. Finally, CNC gravity pressing secures the beads in place.

With uniform bead height (error ≤0.02mm), the beads deliver clear pressing feedback without causing hand discomfort.

The Braille beads are UV-resistant and acid-alkali corrosion-resistant, ensuring no risk of detachment even after 5 years of outdoor use.

Process Innovation:

Leveraging proprietary software developed by Direct Color Systems (DCS), this process converts Braille dot matrix data directly into UV ink jetting commands. Through instant curing via LED UV light (curing time <3 seconds), raised Braille is formed integrally on the substrate surface.

Supports any font/dot matrix arrangement (including multilingual Braille variants, such as English, Spanish, and Braille point extensions) and enables complex content like color gradients and logo printing to be achieved simultaneously.

Only 1-2 days are required from design file to finished product (compared to 5-7 days with traditional processes), making it ideal for urgent orders or scenarios with frequent design iterations.
